At this moment I still have the old sport watch from Polar. Model M400 that need separate Heart rate sensor. My sensor is model H7. The combination is very good. I have had no problems using those. Watch is very simple to use and you can make changes on the display trough the Polar Flow settings on your computer.
The sport watch itself is not the important thing here. Polar has very good interface to see what the watch has recorder during exercise. Polar flow looks very nice and is easy to use. You can also have it on your mobile phone.
Polar Flow interface
Polar flow is on my opinion very nice looking and easy to use. You can see from your own computer all the information that your sport watch has recorded. What you can see from the Polar Flow depends on the hardware you are carrying with you. For example, if you only have the Polar Loop then it will record how active you are during the day and your steps etc. IF you however have the Polar M400 example. Then it will record your heartbeat (with additional sensor), speed, height difference, steps etc.
Polar Flow diary
From the polar flow diary, you can see every day how good you have done. It will show the exercises and it will show you activation status from single day to week and to total month. When you choose one specific date then you can see what you have done during that one day.

Running with Polar
If you have been running with your polar watch and sensor then you can see from the polar flow a lot. Just choose from the diary the day you were running. Choose the running-option and then you can see on map where you have been running and it will show different data about the exercise. I think the data depends on your chosen options. The watch will record only the data you want it to record so the Polar Flow will not show anything else.

On my screen you can see the map, distance, steps, speed, heart rate, height. You can even choose from the map a specific area and see how well you did on that area. For example, if there was a high hill you can see what happened during that time. How high your heart rate went and how slow did you go.

I think the Polar Flow is the strongest part of the Polar product range. It will work with all Polar hardware and is nice and easy to use. Also you can share your exercise (if you want).
Activity Overview
The Polar Flow Activity overview is displayed on round clock like structure. It shows your activity during different time of the day, also night (if you kept your watch or loop on you). It shows nicely the times you have been walking around and the times you have been lazy. It also shows if you have received inactivity stamp.

If this don’t get you moving, then nothing will 😉
